Becoming a Zoöp
How does becoming a Zoöp actually work? In a Zoöp, the interests of non-human life are actively represented by a Speaker for the Living. When a Speaker for the Living is brought into the organisation, a Zoöp begins a process in which those involved learn to contribute to the restoration of the environment. In a Zoöp, people are not outside of nature, but are seen as participants in the living world, where all life is cared for.
Change of mentality
Becoming a Zoöp helps to initiate a change of mentality among the (human) employees of an organisation. First you learn to see your organisation as a participant in the ecosystems. Then, as a Zoöp, you gradually reorganise your processes and work in such a way that they can support the ecosystems they influence.
