Press visits

Nieuwe Instituut offers journalists and the media free access to the museum and Sonneveld House, on the presentation of a press card or business card. It is also usually possible to visit new exhibitions a few days before the opening.

In order to provide you with the best possible service, please register by emailing the Press Officer, Robin van Essel. Please state what you would like to cover and which medium you work for.

Photography and filming

Photographers and film crews are welcome at the Nieuwe Instituut for editorial purposes. Advance notice is required so that arrangements can be made with regard to our house rules and the copyrights of the works shown. You can register by sending an email to Robin van Essel.

In some cases, photography and filming for commercial purposes, using the interior of the Nieuwe Instituut or Sonneveld House as a backdrop, is permitted. Please contact Venue hire to find out more about the possibilities.
