Architectural historian Lara Schrijver was invited to reflect and write about the contemporary resonance of Disney's cultural production. Schrijver examines how Disney's utopian ideas and ideologies produce a particular narrative and how the emancipation of the female protagonist is reflected in architectural encenances.
