As a Circle member, you enjoy a close connection with the Nieuwe Instituut and its board, you act as an ambassador for the Dutch design field, and you help make our education and talent programmes a reality.
You will receive invitations for you and a guest to all our openings and to VIP events such as curator-led tours and meet-the-designer evenings, the annual Circle trip, exclusive Circle cocktail parties and behind-the-scenes tours of the National Collection for Dutch Architecture and Urban Planning. Naturally, you and a guest can enjoy free admission to the Nieuwe Instituut and Sonnveld house every day, plus discounts for the café, bookshop and venue hire in the institute.
Would you like your contribution to support a specific project, research theme or designer? Then it’s also possible to set up your own Circle. Please contact Annabel Mooren to find out more.
Circle
You’re enthusiastic about the past, present and future of design. You value the National Collection of Dutch Architecture and Urban Planning and the Nieuwe Instituut’s mission to preserve it for the future while making it accessible to the public. You believe that it’s important to provide a place for experimentation where ideas and talent can develop and where innovations emerge that bridge the disciplines of architecture, design and digital culture. Your contribution will help the Nieuwe Instituut to create a permanent collection display, increase the impact of its co-education programme, expand the digital cultural programmes and develop new research laboratories.
Contribution
You can become a Circle member of the Nieuwe Instituut for a minimum annual contribution of €3500. For a minimum contribution of €5000, you can join our Circle Leaders. Circle Leaders enjoy exceptional benefits, get a special mention in the annual reports and on the plaque, and can set up their own Circle as desired.
