Woolfiller by Heleen Klopper

Throwing out damaged textile? No more with Woolfiller! A helpful repair kit that indirectly slows down the production of the textile industry.

Many people throw out their clothing garments at the first sign of wear and tear, but reviving textile extends their lifespan and reduces the ecological footprint. Woolfiller, designed by Heleen Klopper, breathes new life into old knitwear. This handy repair kit includes a felting needle, locally-sourced wool, and the necessary instructions to repair anything from jumpers to blankets, or even carpets.

Price: €19,50

Woolfiller uses the technique of needle felting. The needle in the kit has a series of notches at the tip. Each wool fibre is covered with flat, overlapping scales that open up when pricked by the needle. The open scales stick together and do not come loose, even when the textile washed. A fuzzy piece of wool magically becomes a piece of felt fabric, repairing holes and tears. Find the detailed instructions in your kit!
