International Visitors Programme
Keren Nazareth, the executive director of the Indian community development organisation Saath, and Jose Mari Luzarraga, cofounder of Spain's team entrepreneurship organisation Mondragon Team Academy, gave keynote speeches at Amsterdam Urban Innovation Week, which took place from 15 to 21 September 2013 at Pakhuis De Zwijger. In light of the guests' interest in social and urban design, Het Nieuwe Instituut invited them to meet Dutch urban explorers, community creatives and city planners. Pakhuis De Zwijger hosted a two-day programme in which they were introduced to initiators of neighbourhood businesses and other cooperative projects in Amsterdam.
