Temporary Fashion Museum
Designers Martijn van Strien and Vera de Pont are still searching for ways to renew the fashion system. For the Temporary Fashion Museum, they wrote a manifesto on the future of the fashion industry, which, according to them, must focus more on sustainability and the application of new technology. They call on consumers in particular to become actively involved in this area. Three messages from the manifesto are incorporated in a façade banner that Van Strien and De Pont developed in collaboration with TextielLab Tilburg. The use of various yarns that each respond differently to light means that the time of the day determines which message is legible.
