International Visitors Programme
Each year, dozens of international professionals working in the fields of architecture, design, fashion and digital culture come to the Netherlands at the Nieuwe Instituut’s invitation to get acquainted with the multidisciplinary way of working that characterises Dutch design.
From 19 to 23 January 2020, 12 professionals from Slovenia's cultural and creative sector visited the Netherlands. The visit was organised by Het Nieuwe Instituut in collaboration with DutchCulture and Motovila, Centre for the Promotion of Cooperation in the Cultural and Creative Sectors.
The 12 professionals visited selected Dutch cultural organisations and locations with the aim of stimulating transnational and interdisciplinary cooperation, mobility and synergies between different operators and institutions in the cultural and creative sectors of Slovenia and the Netherlands. In addition to Motovila, representatives of the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO), Otok Institute and Kinoatelje had the opportunity to meet colleagues from the architecture, design, cultural history, film and AV sectors and experience different cultural and artistic locations and events in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
