International Visitors Programme
Thanks to a contribution to the Open Call for visitors programmes, the festival, exhibition and multidisciplinary online and offline platform Other Futures could put together and publish an interview in which artistic director Brigitte van der Sande talks with artist Jason Wee about his installation Masterplan.
The conversation, which, outside the pandemic, would have probably 'just' taken place on a stage in De Brakke Grond, appeared as a special feed on the Other Futures website.
Thanks to the help of the IBP, artist and curator Astria Suparak was able to introduce the themes in her work with the video essay Virtually Asian, which also appeared on the festival feed. In addition, the video artwork _Tropicollage _that Suparak made for Other Futures could be completed and published.
