International Visitors Programme
The International Visitor Programme of Het Nieuwe Instituut, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York, is organising a visit for American design curators and museum directors to the Dutch Design Week to get acquainted with the Dutch design world.
In addition to a visit to Het Nieuwe Instituut and Dutch Design Week, Het Nieuwe Instituut, in collaboration with DutchCulture, is organising a joint visit to the Textile Museum and Textiellab in Tilburg and the Design Museum in Den Bosch for the American and Chinese delegations of museum professionals.
The programme for Dutch Design Week addresses, among other things, the question that Het Nieuwe Instituut proposed earlier in Neuhaus: How can designers develop approaches that are non-exploitative to our environment, and place multispecies interests at the centre of the design process?
