Workshop 'Working on Common Ground' #2 (on urban areas)

18 October 2022 10:30 - 10:30

The Working on common ground workshops explore the sensitivities, organisational tactics and larger scale strategies required to foster multispecies communities and societies. Led by the Have we met? team, the Working on Common Ground workshops focus on the physical contexts in which they take place. The first explores a rural setting and the second an urban context. Both workshops include experiential exercises, practice-led research cases and extended discussions among Have we met? makers and contributors and workshop participants.

The sessions are based on the practice of Zoöp (a cooperation with zoë, Greek for 'life'). The Zoöp model can be adopted by any organisation wishing to learn how it participates in its surrounding ecosystems and how it might become a symbiotic body with all life in its operational sphere. Zoöp organisations set out to contribute to ecological regeneration, always asking how humans and non-humans can arrive at a collaboration that supports all life.

The workshops are intended for organisations and individuals interested in realising a multispecies society.
