How Sweet is the Museumpark?
Our experience of our urban parks is primarily visual: colour combinations, shapes and textures soothe our eyes and create a pleasant atmosphere. But what happens when we engage our other senses?
5 June 2016 13:00 - 15:30
The workshop _How Sweet is the Museumpark? _will stimulate the taste buds. Edible plants will be collected from the Museumpark and their flavours will be preserved as bottles of syrup for making lemonade.
Contemporary Wild
The collective Contemporary Wild comprises two young designers, Asnate Bočkis and Willem van Doorn, both graduates from the Design Academy Eindhoven. They are fascinated by the duality of man and nature. Contemporary Wild works on research projects in the field of contextual design. Their provocative projects encourage autonomous thinking. They develop strategies to find alternative uses for natural elements in the urban landscape.
