An Evening With: Claudy Jongstra
Artist Claudy Jongstra presents her woven shade cloths, designed to combat heat stress in cities like Rotterdam when used in combination with greening and planting. Jongstra talks about her art practice, her love of wool and the local and global increase in heat and drought events in the hope of inspiring and challenging people to innovate and develop with her.

During the evening, Johan Verlinde will join the conversation. Verlinde runs the programme Rotterdams Weerwoord ('Rotterdam's Response') from the Municipality of Rotterdam about the necessary change of the outdoor space, built-up area and human behaviour. Jongstra and Verlinde will discuss Jongstra's work and the topics that are contained herein. The conversation is moderated by Andrea van Pol.
