Malkit Shoshan announced as curator of Dutch Pavilion Architecture Biennale Venice
Under the auspices of Het Nieuwe Instituut, Malkit Shoshan has been appointed curator of the Dutch Pavilion at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2016. Shoshan, an architect and founder of the architecture think tank FAST, has been a fellow of Het Nieuwe Instituut for the past two years. Her on-going research into architecture in conflict areas fits neatly within the overarching theme for the 2016 Architecture Biennale: 'Reporting from the Front'.

Malkit Shoshan, curator Dutch Pavilion in Venice, presents research at UN
At the invitation of Bert Koenders, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Malkit Shoshan presents her project BLUE ISLANDS IN CITIES** **at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. In the same buidling an exhibition will open about the project, a precursor to the presentation that will be on view at this year's Venice Architecture Biennale.
