Martijn de Waal is a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and cofounder of The Mobile City, a think-tank in the field of digital media and urban design. He wrote the book De stad als interface in which he describes how digital media are changing everyday life in the city.

Wouter Valkenier is an architect and an initiator of Hannekes Boom and De Ceuvel, cafés created through an open design process that has continued since their opening, and organised through social media in collaboration with an active community.
Afaina de Jong
Afaina de Jong is an architect and doctoral student of cultural city dynamics at Delft University of Technology. Her fascination with the city, ownership by residents, and the role of the architect culminated in her book For the People By the People, in which she casts new light on what architecture and the city could be in the 21st century.
Jeroen van Mastrigt
Game and interaction designer Jeroen van Mastrigt is cofounder of consultancy firm We Love Your work. He propagates the potential of new media and urban games for the development of a social city.
Marco Martens
Marco Martens is a rapper, writer and teacher who mixes rap, the spoken word and theatre in an array of projects. His latest performance, entitled HARM, is now touring theatres. For this evening he will perform some well-chosen numbers from his repertoire.
