_This is America, _a video by Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, will be examined and discussed during this event. References from the video will form the basis of a lively debate between scholars, artists and journalists about the status of racism and use of propaganda in modern day America. Shay Kreuger (1981) is a radio DJ for FunX radio, reporter and host from Rotterdam. She hosts events, festivals and congresses like North Sea Jazz, Battle of Drums, Afrovibes and Festival Classique. She worked as a presentator/producer for Radio Stanvaste, as stagemanager for Afrique-Carib Festival and as an acting class teacher for various high schools.

Rob Schröder is a Dutch writer, graphic designer and documentary producer. He was the founder of 'Wild Plakken', a political-activist design collective that worked for cultural institutes. He teaches at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and was one of the founders of the Sandberg Institute. As a documentary producer he worked independent and assigned for movies and television programmes. In 2018 Rob Schröder presents together with Metahaven a new movie called Possessed.
