Join us for the Youth Housing Debate!

Housing is set to be a key issue in the upcoming elections in the Netherlands. What solutions are the political parties offering to young people, who are currently the group most affected by the housing crisis?

For young people, the prospect of a home is no longer a given. The demand for social housing far exceeds the supply, owning a home is out of reach, and private rentals are unaffordable. The number of people looking for housing is steadily growing.

During the Youth Housing Debate, parliamentary candidates will discuss the issue with each other and a critical youth panel, moderated by Marsha Simon. Topics for discussion will include affordability, creating more housing and youth involvement in these plans.
