Archive workshop at Het Flevolands Archief

Do you have a wealth of archive material and would you like to gain better insight into it? Are you looking for ways to structure it? In this workshop, you will take concrete steps to organise your own archive.

Guided by archive coaches, you will learn how to organise and describe your archive, as well as deciding what to include and exclude. You will work with questions such as: Why do you want to do something with your archive? Who do you want to make it accessible to? What do you want your target audience to be able to do with the archive? These questions will form the basis for developing your personal action plan. With this newly acquired knowledge, you will then be able to further develop, implement and maintain your own archive process.

The workshop will take place at the Flevolands Archief in Lelystad and is intended for garden and landscape architects.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to view the installation Memory of the Designed Landscape in the Flevolands Archief study room. Through photos and videos, you will see the diversity of garden and landscape architecture archives, each with their own management and conservation challenges and opportunities.
