We warmly invite you to join us for the third edition of the Osaka World Expo Talk Shows, a series of public conversations at the Netherlands Pavilion during Expo 2025 in Osaka.

In the coming years, Museum Prinsenhof Delft and the Kyushu Ceramic Museum will work together to uncover new stories about the cultural exchange between the Netherlands and Japan. Traces of this interchange, the history of which spans more than 400 years, are clearly present in the collections of both museums. These historical ceramic collections are the starting point, but attention is also paid to the present and the future. How can the cultural exchange between Japan and the Netherlands, which is still strong in the field of ceramics today, contribute to finding innovative solutions to contemporary issues? During this talk show, the museums invite today’s designers to discuss this with them.
TheTalk Shows creates space for conversation shaped by concrete projects, lived experience, and the desire to think together across difference. Netherlands-based participants will also introduce their work through brief, focused presentations.
