The museum and Huis Sonneveld will be open in 2026 on the following Dutch holidays: Friday 3 April (Good Friday), Sunday 5 and Monday 6 April (Easter), Thursday 14 May (Ascension Day), Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May (Whit Sunday and Whit Monday), and Saturday 26 December (Boxing Day).
On Thursday 24 December and Thursday 31 December, we will be open from 10am to 4pm.

In 2026, we will be closed on Thursday 1 January (New Year’s Day), Monday 27 April (King’s Day), and Friday 25 December (Christmas Day).

Sonneveld House is a national monument that requires regular maintenance. Unfortunately, due to work being carried out on the walls and ceiling, the guest room and linen room on the second floor will be closed from 12 January to 22 March 2026.

Book your ticket at the entrance of the house, at the box office in the Nieuwe Instituut, or online in advance.

Unfortunately, due to its original historic layout Sonneveld House Museum is not accessible for wheelchairs or prams. Read more about how we try to make Sonneveld House as accessible as possible for all visitors.
