Night of Philosophy is an annual event on a philosophical theme linked to the current architecture discourse. This academic year, designers, makers and thinkers from both inside and outside architecture will exchange ideas about the post-Anthropocene. Walking is employed as a means to reflect, to exchange thoughts, stories and poems and to use the senses. Previous walks have taken us through the polder landscape, into the dark night, past colonial terraforming technologies and illuminated greenhouses, and along international shipping canals.
ARGUS
Night(s) of Philosophy is part of ARGUS, the student association of the Architecture master track of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at Delft University of Technology. ARGUS aims to provide a platform where its various members, including students, alumni, practitioners, PhD-candidates and academics can connect, exchange ideas and explore architecture and its peripheries. They do so by organizing in-depth monthly events such as excursions, lectures, workshops and debates, and in a monthly paper.
