In this workshop you will learn which knots and wrapping techniques can emphasise and enhance the stone's character.
12 November 2017 12:00 - 16:00
Do you have a beautiful stone from a country walk or a holiday? Why not turn it into a wonderful souvenir using special wrapping techniques. In this workshop you will learn which knots and wrapping techniques can emphasise and enhance the stone's character. These techniques have their origins in Japanese basketry and ikebana. They can also be used to cover other objects.
A range of suitable stones will be available, but please feel free to bring along your own stone or other object.
The workshop costs ¬29.50, including supervision, materials, use of equipment, tea or coffee and a snack. Please note: lunch is not included but Het Nieuwe Café offers a range of sandwiches and salads.
