Closing Event: Memory of the Designed Landscape
Join us this afternoon as we celebrate the completion of the Memory of the Designed Landscape programme, which was initiated to develop a sustainable perspective for archiving garden and landscape architecture. We will present the eponymous advisory report to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and open the Memory of the Designed Landscape presentation on the heritage of garden and landscape architecture.
15 November 2024 14:00 - 17:00
Following the presentation of the report, we will look back on the past three years of Memory of the Designed Landscape through a presentation of archive material from the four practical case studies that were part of the programme. Taken together, these archives form a striking reflection of the breadth and richness of the heritage of garden and landscape architecture. The Memory of the Designed Landscape presentation is part of the Garden Futures exhibition.
Various speakers, including Tomas Degenaar and Lodewijk van Nieuwenhuijze, will then discuss the case studies under the guidance of Francien van Westrenen.
