Jewellery as Poetry, and Poetry as Jewellery
9 July 2020 15:00 - 17:00
Create jewellery and poetry as you explore the relationship between the two in this combined workshop by goldsmith Nastasia Gendreau and poet Dean Bowen. During the workshop, you'll dive into the stories behind the materials. What are the materials saying? Where do their stories meet your own? And how to translate all of this into a poem or a piece of jewellery?
This poetry and jewellery workshop takes place as part of a series of on- and offline activities celebrating the opening of two new exhibitions at Het Nieuwe Instituut: Atelier Nelly and Theo van Doesburg and Gijs Bakker & K. Schippers: Basics. The workshop will comply with the coronavirus regulations and is therefore open to a maximum of just 15 participants.
