The pop-in exhibition _Result _by Rotterdam-based street-art duo Bier en Brood provides a glimpse of a dystopian world characterised by deformation and decay.
Result
_Result sketches a future scenario in which humanity has entirely exhausted its environment. It _features the souvenirs of a utopia that has descended into a dystopia: decayed objects enter into a mysterious relationship with the present. ION II is an interactive light installation inspired by contemporary illuminated advertising. Large flashing monitors demand the attention of passers-by.
Bier en Brood
Bier en Brood is a street-art duo from Rotterdam consisting of Koen Harmsma and Jelmer Noordeman, both of whom studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Bier en Brood works exclusively in black and white: from detailed pen drawings featuring abstract line work to vast murals using spray paint. They create a mysterious world inspired by nature, architecture and machines. The duo strives for the broadest possible spectrum, in two and three dimensions, without losing sight of artistic authenticity.
