Join us to hear more about the upcoming cultural programme curated by the Nieuwe Instituut at Expo Osaka 2025. Francien van Westrenen. Head of Agency of Nieuwe Instituut, will delve into the theme of the Netherlands pavilion ‘Common Ground’, and how it will be activated through cultural programme. This is followed by conversations with two of the participants, Natalie Dixon (Affect Lab) and Jarrik Ouburg (HOH Architecten). Together with Dirk van den Heuvel (Jaap Bakema Study Centre) we will take a closer look at the design of the iconic Osaka 1970 pavilion by Jaap Bakema and Carel Weeber. On the occasion of this event, the scale model is on view, alongside the model of the current pavilion by RAU Architects.
