The Members of Het Nieuwe Instituut are invited for a preview prior to the festive opening of Neuhaus and to join the guided tour by curator Klaas Kuitenbrouwer.

Exactly 100 years after the foundation of Bauhaus, Het Nieuwe Instituut transforms into Neuhaus, a temporary transdisciplinary academy for more-than-human knowledge. For a period of four months, this ever-evolving learning environment takes over the institution, occupying and transforming its existing building and facilities, adding new ones, and opening them up - to co-create, co-own, share, and perform the _Neuhaus _programme of more-than-humanknowledge.
Neuhaus Multispecies Opening Party
The Neuhaus opening at 19:00 is a more-than-human party in the spirit of the legendary costume balls at Bauhaus. Make your own mask, expect the unexpected and don't limit yourself to human clothes, because the dress code is 'multispecies'!
Neuhaus Symposium
The Neuhaus Opening Symposium will set the tone of the academy by outlining the challenges and presenting the core themes, and thereby introduce the curriculum. The Symposium takes place from 10:00 until 18:00 and Members get a 50% discount.
