Visit Sonneveld House for free during Open Monument Days

It's Open Monument Days (Open Monumentendag) on 13 and 14 September in Rotterdam! A great opportunity to visit Sonneveld House free of charge. Completed in 1933, the villa is considered one of the best-preserved houses in the Nieuwe Bouwen style.

An even richer experience

During Open Monument Days, visiting Sonneveld House is free. Discover the house at your own pace, listen to the free audio tour and experience how the Sonneveld family lived.

A visit to the Sonneveld House Museum is now an even richer experience, thanks to new and exciting sensory elements that you can smell, touch and hear. Through a series of interventions, designers Simon Dogger and Hedwich Hooghiemstra have brought the house to life and made it accessible to people who are blind or partially sighted.
