During North Sea Round Town Kruidkoek plays a live set in the foyer of Het Nieuwe Instituut. Free entrance.

Kruidkoek originated in Zwolle and consists of four musical friends. Their music is a mix of obscure improvisation rock, garage jazz, afro-funk and disco blues. After the two EPs Luchtbeslag and Kruidkoek II: Snode Plannen, their first full album is almost finished. Since 2014 they have played throughout the Netherlands, from Paradiso, the Melkweg, the Sugarfactory, North Sea Jazz Club, Liberation Festival Overijssel, Jazz in Duketown to the Popronde.
