New Material Award 2016

Eighteen designers have been nominated for the New Material Award 2016 and will be presented during Dutch Design Week at the Kazerne in Eindhoven.This bi-annual award challenges artists and designers to apply and develop sustainable materials and innovative technologies. During the opening minister Bussemaker announces on 22 October the two winners. The prize awards two accolades: the New Material Award of ¬ 15.000 for a final design and the New Material Fellow for a fleshed-out design idea linked to a research question.
