'Marathon: The City That Never Sleeps' is a marathon where various people will go in conversation to build and exchange on the politics of mundane and everyday social spaces and their significant role as transformative sites for cultural production that feed urban arts and culture. With contributions by Amina Hussen, Egbert Alejandro Martina, Zeinab Salah, Malique Mohamud, Cedric Kouame, Amal Alhaag & many others.

The City That Never Sleeps is an evening on everyday architecture, agency, ownership and transformative spaces and neighbors that defy toxic urban politics and policies. This program is part of the For the Culture weekender which examines the relationship between street culture, policy and everyday spaces.
Metro54 and Concrete Blossom invite artists, activists, hustlers, city makers and boss ladies to build and exchange on the politics of the mundane and everyday social spaces and their significant role as transformative sites for cultural production that feed communities and counter cultures within cities such as Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Brussels and London. With contributions by Zeinab Salah, Cedric Kouame, Amina Hussen, Samer Abdelnour and Fardy Lodowica.
For the Culture: Weekender
For the Culture reflects on everyday, invisible public places, labs and micro-networks that provide the city with creativity, ingenuity and cultural productions from street culture and popular culture. The program unfolds at informal meeting places and community centers in Rotterdam West with contributions by local residents, designers, hustlers, city-makers, artists, rappers and architects.
