Live from G/D THYSELF with Eve Biōn and Camie Bonger

In this week's edition of Live from G/D THYSELF, The Ummah Chroma's installation in Het Nieuwe Instituut is open to our communities as a ritual space for them to perform their own spirit strategies.

This week, the G/D THYSELF installation is open to our communities to use as a ritual space for whatever spirit strategies they want to execute and share with our audiences. In this edition theater maker Camie Bonger and the formation Eve Biōn show their interpretations.

Transformation Theater

Theater maker Camie Bonger uses frank monologues, theatrical interventions and exercises with the audience to bring about reflection and understanding. Reflection on your own thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Understanding for yourself and the other. With humour, self-knowledge and warmth, Camie opens up sensitive subjects for discussion, often with a profound effect on others. With her company TransformatieTheater she helps people to become aware of subconscious patterns. Transformation Theater provides new insights, creates openness and space for change.
For the open stage of Live from G/D THYSELF Camie shows an excerpt from her performance "She didn't know where to start so she went back to her heart", in which she tells part of her personal story.

"I dream of a world in which EVERYONE feels welcome and loved. And that a child learns to listen to his or her feelings from an early age, feels self-love and therefore automatically for the other. "

Eve Biōn

Founded by Daniel Sillem and Buket Zor, Eve Biōn is a formation that aims at combining their different backgrounds into a unique blend of electronica, dance and trip hop.
Roots of vinyl sampling culture, craftily produced sound design and distinctive colourful vocal arrangements merge in the sound of Eve Biōn.
The pair have matched their skills to create dark, authentic and hypnotizing dance music. Their tracks pulsate with a magical and organic tone, deep basses and dreamy vocals.

All the performances and workshops are offered both as an active Zoom session (with limited places) and as a livestream on Het Nieuwe Instituut Online.
