Launch of The Green Dip

MVRDV, the Why Factory and TU Delft present The Green Dip, a visual manifesto on the possibilities of urban greening and architectural strategies for integrating vegetation into buildings. Co-authors Winy Maas (MVRDV) and Javier Arpa Fernandéz will present the book, followed by a panel discussion with city makers, researchers and biodiversity experts.

10 October 2024 18:00 - 19:30

The Green Dip (MVRDV)

What if our streets were greener, and our cities thrived and turned into biodiverse forests? What would the resulting urban ecosystems look like? The Green Dip presents methods for bringing nature back to our cities and imagines a global urban forest – from Beijing to Singapore, Dubai, Moscow, Kinshasa, Paris, New York and Sao Paulo.

The Green Dip proposes a database of plant species that designers can easily incorporate into their buildings, and even dreams of software, The Green Maker, to help with the process.
