International Clinic: Starting an International Project
In this International Clinic event, international business consultant Mariana Idiarte will explain how to set up an international design project, and why it is more important than ever to engage in meaningful international design collaborations. She will also give practical advice on the process, illustrated with examples of best practices. The Clinic will be followed by break-out sessions on international mobility and funding opportunities aimed at recent design graduates, this part will be led by DutchCulture and Creative Industries Fund NL. The event will conclude with a networking drink.

Programme
The plenary session with Mariana Idiarte is moderated by Ned Kaar, designer and curator, as well as the Alumni Coordinator at Design Academy Eindhoven. After the session, Marcel Feil (Head of International Cultural Policy & Coordination) and Josine Backus (International Cultural Policy & Coordination) at DutchCulture, Roxanne Minten (Coordinator Internationalisation) and Sharvin Ramjan (Coordinator Talent Development) at Creative Industries Fund NL, Tijn van de Wijdeven (Programme manager) and Marie-Anne Souloumiac (Programme manager) at Nieuwe Instituut will guide three break-out sessions on international mobility and funding opportunities. The event concludes with a networking drink.

After the event, guests can enjoy the Free Thursday Night at the museum. Guests can visit the exhibitions at the Nieuwe Instituut for free between 17:00 and 21:00 hr. There is also the opportunity to join a free Thursday Night Detour starting at 19:00 hr.
