Completion of mural #3 by Job Wouters
A series of painted interventions by artist and designer Job Wouters was on view until 24 April 2015. These interventions were typographical and linguistic references to the programme of Het Nieuwe Instituut. 'Huis in een witte tutu', for example, the overarching name of the interventions, was an anagram of 'Het Nieuwe Instituut'. Sunday 22 February focused on the completion of mural #3.

Music by singer-songwriter Sir Ian
Sir Ian is the songwriter alter ego of Rotterdam musician Bart Hoevenaars, better known previously as the frontman of indie rock group Mono. In addition to recent projects such as composing music for film and theatre, Hoevenaars last year completed his second Sir Ian album, aptly titled 'II' and filled with melancholic and serious pop gems, which are still not without consolation or hope. The album resulted in a performance at the Bimhuis, a live album of which can be downloaded from Sir Ian's bandcamp page. This Sunday Sir Ian will mostly play songs from his album 'II', released last year, in a slightly more sober form, accompanied by guitarist Frank Jonas and double bass player Jos Hoevenaars.
