Home Wear

Sophie Krier and Erik Wong, curators of the exhibition 'In Search of the Pluriverse', invite visitors to join for an evening on the 'invisible threads' that hold a community or a group together, and on textile as our first home - a home to dwell in or to take along on the road. With artist and researcher Joke Robaard and Arc Architects owner Tom Morton.

'Weaving' relationships, intervening in the urban 'fabric', exploring the 'fringes' of Europe, making a 'seamless' connection between the inside and outside of a home, reflecting on the 'wear and tear' of a concept... Textile metaphors are abundant in the world of architecture and design, but what do textiles really have to tell us? What feeds the speculation that the social fabric is falling apart?

This event is part of the side programme tying in with the exhibition _In Search of the Pluriverse_.
