Festive opening Rotterdam Architecture Month and The Podium

This summer Het Nieuwe Instituut presents the Podium, an impressive pop-up venue on top of the institute's roof. The pink installation - with an external staircase almost 30m high - is a design by MVRDV and an extension of the current exhibition about the architecture office. The Podium offers both unique views and varied (guest) programming.
Het Podium and the Rotterdam Architecture Month will be opened with a festive programme.
First to use the Podium is Rotterdam Architecture Month. In June, the platform at the institute forms the heart of the festival, and lectures, tours, films and other activities related to architecture are organised throughout the month. The main exhibition of Rotterdam Architecture Month can also be seen in Gallery 0.
