Design fungi worlds and experiment with shape, sound and materials. The entire family can join to discover how fungi connect, transform and inspire.

- Fungi Fashion: gather inspiration from the shapes and textures of different fungi and design a cool fungi hat.
- Truffle Quest: step into the role of a mushroom-eating animal and search for hidden treasures from the world of the exhibition FUNGI.
- Fungi Symphony: discover how sound, frequency, and atmosphere are connected to the invisible world of fungi and mycelium.
- The Great Connection - Peterson Stoop: a joint creative project around recycled materials. Separate parts are brought together in a growing tapestry.

TicketsFamilieFest
FamilieFest is an event that takes place during the school holidays at the Nieuwe Instituut, and you and your family are invited! It’s a day full of educational workshops and fun activities for children aged 4 to 12. Each edition focuses on architecture, design or digital culture.
