A lecture by Deyan Sudjic on the remarkable life and career of Boris Iofan (1891-1976), state architect to Joseph Stalin. His buildings came to define the language of Soviet architecture and his story is an insight into the troubled relationship that all successful architects have with power.

The Incredible Shrinking Man by Arne Hendriks
Theatrical lecture (¬ 7,50 / ¬ 3,75)
_The Incredible Shrinking Man_ is a prize-winning art and research project by designer and artist Arne Hendriks exploring the possibility of creating a 50cm human being: a human who fits better on the Earth. Hendriks plays with our primary reactions to growth and shrinkage, disrupts our thinking and makes us aware of deep-seated fears and desires. Can we desire less as passionately as we desire more?
