DISH 2015
Together with the DEN Foundation and Europeana, Het Nieuwe Instituut organised DISH2015. The main theme for this international conference on digital strategies for cultural heritage was Money and Power.

Organisations engaged in preserving (digital) cultural heritage face many challenges today. In a world of digital networks in which information is increasingly coming under the control of private corporations, heritage organisations must continually make strategic choices about their activities and services. It is therefore important to focus our attention on the role that such organisations play in this game of knowledge and power.
Together with the DEN Foundation (Digital Heritage Netherlands) and Europeana (the portal site for the digital collections of European cultural and scientific institutions), Het Nieuwe Instituut organised DISH2015 (Digital Strategies for Heritage). The main theme for this international conference on digital strategies for cultural heritage was Money & Power and has four subthemes.
