Counter to: Vital pedagogies of feminist design practice
Katherine Clarke (of muf architecture/art) and Anne Thorne (Anne Thorne Architects and Matrix Feminist Design Co-Operative) are invited for a keynote and discussion, drawing on their own exemplary design practices.
9 March 2023 18:00 - 20:00
Anne Thorne and Katherine Clarke will talk about expanded notions of architecture practice. How can we reflect on a regenerative, feminist practice? In what ways is intergenerational knowledge-sharing important in architectural training? How to emphasise the importance of counter-institutional or grassroots agents in space-making processes? And what are the flipsides of practice, policy and planning as stepping stones and conduits for emancipation?
