After the Future
The event will feature a first screening of After the Future, a short film by Sven and Detlef Prince (Faithful to the Subject) in collaboration with the Nieuwe Instituut. What’s it like to be an architect nowadays? What are the biggest challenges? And what does the future hold? After the Future explores the role and position of the architect through interviews with Floris Alkemade, ZUS, Herman Hertzberger, Lyongo Juliana, Ellen van Loon, Winy Maas, Arna Mačkić, Dikkie Scipio, Carel Weeber, Nina Aalbers and Raoul Vleugels. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion led by Hedwig van der Linden.
