Watch: The Evening of the V2_Archive
The Evening of the V2_Archive was an online event that took place on 20 January 2022 at V2_Lab for the Unstable Media in Rotterdam. The event celebrated the 40-year existence of V2_, and took the V2_Archive as a starting point to explore the development of electronic art and experiments at the intersection of art, technology and society.

Together with guest speakers Lena van Tijen, Katažyna Jankovska, and Alexandra Barancova (for NADD), V2_'s archivist Arie Altena presented the development of electronic art and experiments at the intersection of art, technology and society over the past 40 years and discuss how young artists and researchers see this history. They also explored how an archive can contribute to a critical attitude towards current and future technological and cultural developments.
The event was organised in collaboration with NADD and is part of a larger programme researching the history of V2_ to celebrate its 40-year existence.
